March 14 – GreenToronto Masks Activity @ Lorvale Academy

GreenToronto’s environmental workshop is back! On March 14, during March Break, volunteers led 30 children in a fun "Mask Designer" activity. Using recycled paper and natural wooden sticks, the kids used their creativity to cut, collage, and transform materials into unique masks. The room was filled with laughter and excitement. The young designers decorated their masks with colorful drawings of animals and cartoon characters, combining them with wooden sticks to create playful designs like pandas, rabbits, butterflies, and Spider-Man. By making sustainability fun and educational, Green Toronto continues to inspire young people to care for the environment. We can’t wait for the next creative green adventure!
