On October 23, 2025, GreenToronto hosted a special Art craft workshop for younger children in the Lorvale community. The event aimed to inspire children to repurpose discarded materials, reduce environmental pollution, and foster a sense of achievement in protecting the planet. The Halloween-themed workshop guided children in transforming disposable paper cups and napkins into unique Halloween ghost ornaments. With the help of organizers and volunteers, the children unleashed their creativity, drawing a variety of lively and cute eyes and mouths on the white napkins, thereby giving new life to what would have been waste. The atmosphere was vibrant and engaging, as the children happily completed a meaningful and fun session of eco-friendly art craft work. This activity not only honed their hands-on skills and creativity but also successfully planted the seeds of environmental awareness in their minds.
