The Berczy, a LEED-certified condominium located at 55 Front St E in downtown Toronto, is a benchmark for sustainable urban living. It offers luxurious living while lessening its impact on the environment by fusing eco-friendly technology with contemporary design.
The design of the Berczy skillfully combines modern and traditional aesthetics. While the upper levels' glass and steel provide a sleek, modern touch, the building's red brick base blends in with the St. Lawrence Market neighborhood's historic character. Clean-lined balconies with large windows let in natural light and go well with the building's energy-efficient design. This deliberate blending of styles shows a dedication to both classic architectural beauty and environmental sustainability.

Water conservation is prioritized through low-flow fixtures that reduce consumption without compromising functionality. A rainwater harvesting system collects and filters rainfall for irrigation, and smart irrigation ensures plants are watered only when necessary, saving thousands of liters annually.
